Photography Network’s community gathered for an informal happy hour at Mercat a la Planxa in Chicago on Valentine’s Day, 2020, and again the next day for a formal business meeting as part of the College Art Association (CAA) Annual Conference. Turnout at the events was great and conversations around photography, teaching, research, and plans for the Photography Network was vibrant. Shortly after we met, CAA’s board met and granted Photography Network CAA Affiliated Society status, entitling us to a designated session and business meeting at future meetings of the annual conference. Congratulations!
